Crestron Microsoft Teams Rooms Freezing Up or Not Responding?

It has come to our attention that the Microsoft Teams Rooms (MTR) touch screen interface may be unresponsive. This is a known issue for Crestron devices—specifically the Flex Series in Teams mode. However, this issue may be experienced with other MTR devices.

So how do you fix it so that your MTR and Crestron devices work together seamlessly?

The answer is to use an HDMI Extended Display Identification Data (EDID) Emulator. Crestron will start to ship the Emulator with systems. If you have a Crestron log in, you can get detailed answers here (you will need a Crestron account to access this link).
